Health Professionals
We offer a variety of professional boundaries seminars, online courses, and telephonic courses (providing CME, CE, or CEU credits) for physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health professionals. Professional Boundaries courses can be taken individually or in packages to reach the desired number of credits. Our modular system allows you to combine online and onsite courses in order to tailor a program that fits your needs.
Teachers and School Administrators
Sexual and non-sexual misconduct perpetrated by trusted educators threatens the safety of students at every level. No school or university is immune from professional boundaries issues. Pre-employment screening is an “outside”, minimal solution. Most offending professionals have no prior history of misconduct or criminal record. Safety of students and teachers begins from the “inside”. PBI now offers a comprehensive education program for teachers and administrators, which focuses on early detection and intervention prior to a boundary violation. Please call for more information.
Licensing Boards
We provide support, training, and consultation to regulatory boards regarding professional sexual misconduct and professional boundaries. We provide insightful educational programs, such as the 6 weeks series we conducted for the Federation of State Medical Boards last winter, to educate Board members and staff.
